Happy October!

Kirby was 4 months old yesterday! Time is flying and we are having so much fun!

Her smile is getting bigger by the day, and she LOVES to put anything she can in her mouth. Kirby's still working hard on getting that thumb in there...she's almost got it!

The rice cereal is going well, I guess. She loves it, which is great, but last night she would eat a whole spoonful and then when I took the spoon away to refill it, she screamed and screamed until I put the spoon back in her mouth. This went on and on until we gave up and fed her a bottle. Patience is obviously something we're going to have to work on!

I think this little piggy isn't so little anymore!!! Kirby is 13 lbs, 4 oz. and 25 1/2 inches long! We tried rice cereal tonight, and surprise, surprise, she loved it...almost as much as Jim did!

Fun in Beaumont, TX

Daddy went kayaking this weekend, so Mommy and I went to Beaumont, TX! I got to visit both of my great-grandparents and go to a wedding. It was a busy weekend, and I am worn out!

It's been a pretty fun week. Mommy broke out the activity center for me tonight, and I LOVE it! I can make the spinny thingamabobs make noise, and I think the dragon puppet is super funny. I guess this means I am officially a big girl!!


Here I am with Daddy and Molly...she likes to be in the middle ALL THE TIME! It bothers Mommy & Daddy, but I'm totally fine with it - I don't mind sharing them - that's what big girls do, right? Besides, Molls is my friend :)

mmm...these fingers taste pretty yummy! I've been trying really hard to get my thumb in my mouth, but I always end up with a couple of fingers in there, too!

Sweet Child of God

Kirby was baptized into the Kingdom of God on Saturday, September 8th! Words cannot express how thrilled we are for our baby girl! Aunt Julie is Kirby's godmother, and Gordon, aka Py, is her godfather. Here are some pictures of her big day.
