9 months!

Maggie and William, you are 9 months old and so precious!  You are both getting so much personality, and I swear you get cuter and cuter by the day.  Here are your 9 month stats:

Maggie:  17 lbs. (50th %) & 26 1/4 inches (15th %)
William: 18 lbs. 4 oz. (15th %) & 29 inches (75th %)

Who would have thought with those chunk-a-lunk legs that you would only be in the 15th % for weight?!?

You da-dee and di-di and ba-ba all day long.  You've got so much to say!  Still waiting on Ma-ma, though!

You are on the verge of crawling - you rock back and forth on your knees and have moved your arms and knees in sync a couple of paces at a time, but you haven't taken off quite yet.  Sweetheart, that is just fine with me - if you want to wait a couple of more months to decide to be mobile, I would be all for it!

While we haven't let you actually drink any, you L-O-V-E Miller Lite bottles.  You can spot them from across a room and seem to know that you're supposed to drink from them.  You can be sobbing and will calm down immediately when we put one in front of you, only to start right back up once we take it away!  If there weren't laws about underage drinking, we could make big bucks making commercials for Miller!

You like to put your finger in any hole you can find - the air holes on Maggie's helmet, ears, noses, bathtub jets.  Wet Willies have taken on a whole new meaning at our house.

You can find the lights and fans when we ask you where they are.

You sleep on your tummy with your knees under you and your hiney in the air.

Mags, you are a jabber jaws, too!  Between you, William, and Kirby, someone is always talking!  I can't wait to be able to understand all the very important things you are telling me!

You've only done this for Maria, but you give her great "Ojitos"

Instead of crying when we're not feeding you fast enough, you lean forward in the high chair, stare at us and bang your hands on the tray.

You can hold a toy or book over your face to play "peep-eye" with us.

You can't stand William's fascination with your helmet and ears.

You've got 2 teeth (top, front, right side) that are on the verge of breaking through.  Any day now! You're going to be so cute with toofers!!

We love you so much and can't wait to see what next month brings!!
