Happy Birthday, Baby!

Kirby, I can't believe you're 3!  You are such a joy, and your excitement about this littlest things continues to be one of my very favorite things about you!  You've learned so much and changed so much in the past year, and while it's been amazing to watch you, it's also a little sad to know that you are so grown up.  You are the best big sister to Maggie and William - they are so blessed to have you, and I am so blessed to be your mommy.

Here are some things you do at 3!

- you sleep in a big girl bed, and you love it!
- you still sleep with your blanket and pappy at night (the pappy's days are numbered, though!!)
- you love going to swimming lessons with Miss Michelle
- you are a great scooter rider
- you are an incredibly picky eater now a days...all you eat are frosted miniwheats (with milk and a spoon and a bowl), peanut butter and honey sandwiches, and chicken nuggets (with french fries and ketchup)
- you had a great year at school and made lots of friends.  Your best friend, your "boyfriend" as you call him is Ethan.  He defended your honor on the playground when Harris bumped into you with the tricycle.  I think he's a smart boy - you're quite a catch!!
- you love to "go to church and sing songs and talk to God" and have just learned The Lord's Prayer
- you still throw some pretty serious fits but it's getting better
- you wear big girl panties at night
- you are very, very careful and cautious physically and get lots of bo-bos that require band-aids and hurt cream daily
- you love Annie and DonDon and Nana and Papa and they love you just as much!
- you love Sid the Science Kid & Madagascar

- you say that everything in the past is "last weekend" and the future is "tomorrow"
- you would wear a tutu 24/7 if we'd let you
- you say the funniest things and have the memory of an elephant
- you are the most precious, beautiful, perfect 3 year old we know!!
